The ingenuity and can-do spirit of Portland residents is why our city's slogan is "the city that works." But does our governmental structure hinder our best work, especially when addressing complex issues such as race, policing, and housing?

For more than a year, a volunteer committee made up of City Club members researched the commission form of government. On February 12, we'll highlight the research findings and consider whether Portland's form of government gives us the tools we need to face today's challenges.

Sliding scale ticketing $5 - $20. City Club is trying to balance accessibility with covering the costs of our events. We are also making a portion of tickets available at NO COST (link at bottom of the page). If you are able to pay for a ticket, please do so we can help keep this program accessible to all. Thank you!
