Once upon a time, Gorô Miyazaki and the artists of Studio Ghibli crafted a film based on the beloved fantasy universe created by Ursula K. Le Guin. The result is a film that many find entertaining though very different from the books' intentions.
Strange events are happening in Earthsea, including the appearance of Dragons, which should not be able to enter the world of man. A young wizard named Ged investigates, meeting the mysterious Prince Arren during his adventures. The two work together to uncover the source of the unrest, while the witch Kumo plots to pit the heroes against each other.
