Ron is an acoustic finger-style guitarist/singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. His rich baritone voice, intricate finger picking, altered guitar tunings, original songs and instrumentals make his shows a memorable experience. Ron has graced many a recording project by other artists over the years as a studio musician.
Multi-instrumentalist/singer Carol Statella has played in backup orchestras for Joni Mitchell and Brian Wilson and has contributed to numerous recording projects. She's also been a music journalist and public radio announcer. In the classical realm, Carol played viola in the Atlanta Opera Orchestra, and sang with the Atlanta Symphony Chorus/Chamber Chorus.
Ron and Carol have known each other and been playing together for well over a decade, through many artistic and personal evolutions. Their sound has been described as eloquent and poignant. Onstage, Ron and Carol draw audiences in with artful musicality, occasionally inane humor, and absolute focus on inviting the listener into the depths of a song.
