"Year of the Rabbit" marks Allison Pierce’s first album as a solo artist, following two decades with her sister in the acclaimed duo, The Pierces. Recorded in analog straight to magnetic tape, the album was mostly performed by Allison and Ethan at Hollywood recording mecca Sunset Sound (much in the same spirit as Johns produced Ray LaMontagne’s debut LP, Trouble). The only outside contributors were Gabe Witcher, who supplied fiddle on two tracks, and Greg Leisz, who played pedal steel on another.

Sony Music Masterworks signs singer songwriter/guitarist Allison Pierce. Allison’s forthcoming release, produced by acclaimed producer Ethan Johns (Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne, Kings of Leon and Paul McCartney), will come out in Spring 2017.

Allison is best known from the acclaimed duo The Pierces – a group she formed with her sister Catherine. Named “Breaking Artist To Watch” by Rolling Stone, The Pierces went on to release 5 albums. They toured the world with artists like Coldplay and Lissie, and their hit song ‘Secret’ served as the theme for ABC Family’s series Pretty Little Liars.

With the release of her forthcoming album Year of The Rabbit, Allison now stands alone in the spotlight.

“I’m so excited to be in the company of such iconic artists. I love the eclectic nature of Sony Masterworks and couldn’t be happier to have found a new home with a label that understands and is thriving in the evolving landscape of our business,” says Allison. more >>>
American Darling Valve is a Miami-based duo consisting of Ariele Macadangdang and Bryan Dubrow. Blending elements of folk, jazz, classical, and rock, ADV creates a personalized take on the singer-songwriter genre.

ADV began in 2016 as an outlet for these two musicians to play original music, crafting a seamless blend of personal styles into a singular concept. Ariele’s clear voice and violin playing sit above Bryan’s sympathetic guitar accompaniment to create raw intensity with a subdued sound. more >>>
