Louisiana born Georgia raised Chuck McDowell is an award-winning songwriter and
entertainer with a reputation as a remarkably prolific songwriter in songwriting circles around the country. Clever and driven in his pursuit to write better songs, his focus and energy has gained attention from, and garnered co-writes with, some of most lauded songwriters & lyricists of our day.

A romantic, an innovator and a wildly creative personality, Chuck put together the eclectic ESOEBO, a guitar/cello duo with Gail Burnett. Gwinnett Magazine named ESOEBO Best Entertainer of the Year.

Chuck is the 2016 winner of the prestigious Eddie Owen Presents Annual Songwriter Shootout. He has garnered attention for festival appearances including 30A Songwriter Festival and International Folk Alliance. You'll probably pick up his influences, though they are filtered through his unique and playful instincts and southern upbringing.

No Depression recently wrote "McDowell is a deft and crafty songwriter with an innate ability to write serious, emotionally deep-sounding songs born of rather innocuous incidents."

Humor and depth often intertwine letting the listener filter which they receive. His live performances are known for making people smile, laugh, cry, clap, sing, shout, and stomp. more >>>
While trading songs at a songwriter gathering in Nashville, TN, Idaho native and high school teacher David Robert King's boneyard truth telling, worn and vulnerable voice, and magnetic melodies were overheard by legendary singer/songwriter Mary Gauthier who told King "I have a feeling we will get together someday." This speculation led to King and Gauthier gracing stages throughout North America. David has also shared the stage with Josh Ritter, The Mark O'Connor Band, Tim O'Brien, Loudon Wainwright III, Darrell Scott, and Over The Rhine, and has collaborated with Emily Saliers of The Indigo Girls and Jonatha Brooke.

King's dark, sometimes humorous songs, are unapologetically personal while grounded in the arid soil of his native Idaho. His songs reverberate with the sting of the high desert wind and the hidden power of the Snake River. This combination led to a top 40 song on folk and roots radio, wide critical acclaim, and featured spots at the legendary Bluebird Cafe in Nashville, TN, The Targhee Bluegrass Festival, Kerrville Folk Festival, and Strawberry Music Festival. He is currently recording a new album with producer Darryl Neudorf (Neko Case, Sarah McLachlan, Blue Rodeo) due out in early 2018. more >>>
