“ONE OF THE MOST PROMISING ROOTSY WOMEN ARTISTS
IN THE AMERICANA SCENE.”
–NO DEPRESSION

Harmonies. Soul-touching lyrics. Eye-catching stage presence. Underhill Rose has become synonymous with beautiful music, charming personalities, and rippling success. In the last four years, the band from Asheville, North Carolina has independently released two albums in the top of the Americana Music Association Airplay Chart and Roots Music Report Chart, all the while garnering critical acclaim from around the globe.

Get to know the joyful soaring voice of Molly Rose and her acoustic guitar and the distinctive styling of Eleanor Underhill’s open-back banjo and salty-blues vocals. Their close harmonies and charisma make most think they are sisters, and with their song-centered original compositions, Underhill Rose creates music that is real and inspired. See them on PBS Television, hear them on nationally-syndicated radio and at live performances, and you will know how Underhill Rose has carved out a distinctive place in the Americana-folk scene.

Their sophomore release, Something Real, peaked at number 18 on the AMA Chart, was named an AMA Top 100 Album of the Year, and claimed a spot in the top 25 of the EuroAmericana Chart, Freeform Americana Radio, and The Alternate Root “Roots 66” charts. In 2015, the band’s tertiary album, The Great Tomorrow, released to wide acclaim, reached the Top 30 of the AMA Airplay Chart once again, and took hold at number 1 on The Roots Music Report’s Progressive Bluegrass Album Chart for over nine weeks. R2 Magazine notes, “The Great Tomorrow is simply top-class country music, seasoned beautifully and seamlessly with earworm hooks and bluesy edges, all delivered with instrumental panache and supremely confident singing.” more >>>
Second chances. New Beginnings. A love that is right under your nose. It took nearly 20 years for Don and Claire to come together as The Ormewoods, but their music, touted as "sexy, folk, pop, country" by fans of their lush harmonies and infectious vibe, details the longing for connection and the relief of finding a soulmate in one another. The Ormewoods combine the best of their musical histories, Don as a two time Grammy award winning engineer/producer and Claire as a singer/songwriter resulting in the duo quickly building a base of fans as they toured the Southeast and Mid-West promoting their debut album "The Bedroom Sessions". The album continues to receive strong Americana radio support across the country thanks to their #1 single "HeyBabe" (RootsMusicReport) and the duo is now working on their second release, slated for an October 2017 release. Vocalists, multi-instrumentalists, and seasoned performers, The Ormewoods enjoy nothing more than loading up gear and hitting the road for live shows where they can share their authentic take on love and life with all ages and fans of all genres. more >>>
International Folk Music Awards 2017 Artist of the Year Ordinary Elephant captivates listeners with their well-honed combination of insightful writing, effortless harmonies and intertwined clawhammer banjo and guitar. The collaboration of husband and wife, their connection, and their influences (such as Gillian Welch, Guy Clark, Anais Mitchell) all meet on stage. You see it, hear it, and then you find yourself truly feeling it. “As genuine as it gets” says legendary Texas producer Lloyd Maines.

Crystal and Pete Damore have been performing together since 2011, when they called Texas home. The two took to full-time nomadic life with their dogs in 2014, and are still finding home and music wherever they go. The duo was both a Kerrville New Folk Finalist and Falcon Ridge Emerging Artist in 2017, and their release ‘Before I Go’ was No. 7 on the Folk DJ Chart for the year. more >>>
