Tray Dahl & The Jugtime Ragband is an energetic amalgamation of all the popular music styles of the 1920's/30's – jazz, a little blues, a bit of swing, a pinch old time gospel, and even classic showtunes – all immersed in an early 20th century New Orleans sound. Tray’s powerful 1920's inspired vocal style finds its roots in the likes of Connee Boswell, Ethel Merman, Bessie Smith & Louis Armstrong; her unique performance style from the showmanship of Louis Prima. Influenced heavily by the Boswell Sisters, vocal harmonies are a large part of the entire Tray Dahl experience. Behind the vocals, trumpet, trombone, tenor banjo and upright bass leave audiences with the feel they stepped straight into a roaring 1920’s speakeasy.

Tray’s original songs are stories, like mini black & white movies, that take listeners back in time through the experiences of the main characters, whose tales so far, have taken place anywhere from the 1860's to the 1930's. Alongside Tray’s original tunes, the band plays songs composed by some of the best songwriters from the early and mid-twentieth century - everything from “Minnie the Moocher” to “Lullaby of Broadway” to “It Don’t Mean a Thing” to “Yes Sir, That’s My Baby.” Tray’s songs, which are heavily influenced by such works, are often mistaken as actual Jazz Age compositions. more >>>
*Will be joined by Yonrico Scott on drums and Sam Skelton on saxophone*
Swingin' Saddle Cats was born after a road tour through the Midwest US by Back In The Saddle. In the van, the members of Back In The Saddle started talking about their love of Rockabilly and Classic Country Western Music.

That led to singing the songs while we rolled down the road, which led to some rehearsals and the first of many gigs.

Voila, Swingin' Saddle Cats!
Berné Poliakoff – Vocals, Guitar / Gwen Hughes – Vocals / LA Tuten – Upright
Bass, Vocals / Micah Cadwell - Lead Guitar / Mike Hinton - Drums. The band is also joined on occasion by some of the finest players in Atlanta (including Rick Hinkle, Marla Feeney, Sam Skelton and Yonrico Scott) playing songs by Carl Perkins, Gene Vincent, Elvis, Buddy Holly, Wanda Jackson and many more of our favorite artists.

It all adds up to great music and great fun! Bring your dancin’ shoes! more >>>
