A little history the JOS bus (Jamaica Omni Bus Service) existed in the 1970's in Jamaica. My play is called the "J.O. Hess Bus" In my play I created that the Bus service was owned by Jeremiah Orville Hess. My mother who passed 2009 was a conductress on the Bus. She was my influence for writing the play. Some of the buses were called the "Patty Pan" bus and the Beat old Bus people called the "Jolly Joe" the main character of the project her name is Patty Pan and Jolly Joe is another character I created. This play/project embraces not only Jamaican culture but other cultures can relate as well.
