Music : Genre: Bluegrass/Old-Time
Frank Lee and Allie Burbrink | 6:00 PM
Frank plays guitar, slide guitar, and banjo. Allie plays guitar and banjo also, and they share singing lead and harmony. They perform as a duo and with their oldtime band “The Freight Hoppers”.

A passion for traditional songs and tunes from the rural South has fueled Frank's love of performing for the past 25 years. As a founding member of The Freight Hoppers, he has shared this passion with audiences all over the United States and Canada as well as much of northern Europe. He presents a range of OldTime music that spans from raw Blues from the Mississippi Delta to the hillbilly music recorded in the South in the 1920s. Banjo players all over the world study and emulate Frank’s signature clawhammer sound.

Allie Burbrink cut her musical teeth as a founding member of The Whipstitch Sallies, a bluegrass influenced band from Indiana. The band toured in North Carolina, Colorado, and Hawaii in addition to keeping a busy local schedule. You can find her in as the calendar girl for June in the 2016 Banjo Babes Calendar and playing her 1930s Kalamazoo with The Freight Hoppers.
