Lullwater and Crowfield are no strangers to the long road. Crowfield, once signed to Universal Records, enjoyed a brief moment of stability under their umbrella, as well as the William Morris Endeavor Agency. Even though it was short-lived, it taught the band a great deal about their values, and reinforced their appreciation from Grass Roots growth. Riding a $20,000 Kickstarter infusion, Crowfield has been able to build their brand directly from the enthusiasm of their fan base, and they wouldn’t have it any other way. Come see Crowfield and Lullwater play the Melting Point on Wednesday, October 17th, for a night that is sure to be extraordinary.

Crowfield's journey to the national stage has been accompanied by breakups and breakdowns, tempered by successes and letdowns, and defined by the act of giving a little more when there was nothing left to give. Since the band's creation in 2008, their music has evolved from a vintage Americana sound that reflected their Heartland roots to a more modern and slightly edgy style of Rock and Roll.

Indiana natives Tyler Mechem and Joe Giant formed the band that would come to be known as Crowfield when they relocated to Charleston, SC in 2005. In 2008, they caught the ear of acclaimed producer Rick Beato. Crowfield's premier album "Goodbye, Goodnight, So Long Midwestern" (Ten Star Records) soon followed. The addition of drummer Parker Gins and guitarist, Micah Nichols, and a frenetic touring schedule led to bigger crowds and more illustrious venues.

Throughout this evolution, however, the sincere and often heart wrenching lyrics of lead singer Tyler Mechem have continued to resonate with listeners. more >>>

Lullwater is an Alternative Rock band from Athens Georgia, arguably one of the most musically influential cities in the world. After releasing their debut full length studio produced album Silhouette in 2011 (produced by David Barbie at Chase Park Transduction Studios Drive By Truckers, The Whigs and Dead Confederate) Lullwater would spend the next year aggressively touring the United States playing more than 200 shows and refining their signature sound and style.

For their sophomore record the band wanted to immerse themselves in the culture and environment that played such an important role in modern music, recording the new record in Seattle WA seemed almost preordained. In the winter of 2011 Lullwater reached back to influences from the late 80’s and 90’s grunge music scene to create their own take on modern rock. Working with famed producer Jonathan Plum at London Bridge Studios in Seattle where classics such as Pearl Jam 10 and Soundgarden’s Louder than Love were recorded Lullwater successfully captured the inspiration they were searching for.

Finished recording the band returned home to Athens to set their sights on more touring and the upcoming release. In January of 2012 Lullwater released the EP The Singles - Seattle Sessions a collection of songs recorded for the forth coming full length self titled release “Lullwater” as a free download. more >>>
