The American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia is freedom’s watchdog, working daily in the courts, legislature and communities to preserve and advance civil rights and civil liberties throughout the state. In the weeks and months ahead, the ACLU will be working tirelessly to ensure that the rights and freedoms guaranteed by our founding documents are defended. Our immediate concerns include protecting the rights of protesters and reviewing the civil liberties records of the people who will be appointed to the new cabinet. We are also focusing the full force of our legal and advocacy strength nationwide to stand ready to fight any unlawful and unconstitutional actions taken by the new administration. Especially during this time when we all feel a sense of urgency to protect our civil liberties, we are grateful for your support.

Whisper Kiss plays sentimental acoustic pop songs that express the ever-changing human condition, weaved into a beautifully haunting tapestry. Start with an acoustic guitar and some crafty fingers. Add a cello, some delicate male/female vocal interplay, and a stylistic assortment of compelling melodies. Mix in a little rhythmic groove and you've got Whisper Kiss, creating a sound that is both melancholy and uplifting.

Whisper Kiss are no strangers to the Athens music scene. You’ve probably seen them onstage with Abbey Road LIVE!, Dubconscious, Artie Ball Swing Band, Fuzzy Sprouts, Grogus and the Athens Symphony, among many others.

Caroline is an Artist with a capital A, whose seemingly effortless songs form a direct link from one soul to another. Named “The Best Acoustic Act” in her birth town of Atlanta, GA (Atlanta Magazine), Caroline’s rich history includes recording and performing with Bonnie Raitt and the Indigo Girls, opening for Arlo Guthrie, Muddy Waters, Doc Watson, Randy Newman, Bonnie Raitt, Little Feat, 38 Special, Beach Boys, Janis Ian, and Richie Havens. Caroline appears in regional and national festivals, radio shows, workshops and concert series.

Honeychild was born in 2013 with the dreamy debut “American Beach”. The ukulele was at the core of each song, accompanied by soaring vocals, surf guitars, satisfying strums, beach vacation themes, and a surprisingly epic song about being under the stars.

Honeychild’s clever use of nostalgic themes and textures in the contemporary context of her new album “Surrender” is simultaneously fresh sounding and emotionally explosive. The songs of her sophomore full-length album feel like a sexy, heart-aching, time-traveling dream to 1988 from 2015. more >>>
