Steve Coughlin, BMI Recording Artist, singer/songwriter, calls Hartwell, GA, his homebase. Crystal clear waters and Whispering Pines create the pristine backdrop on which he paints his Smooth Southern Sound. His debut album, Out of the Cold, and follow-up album, Wings of Home are charting across the South and getting more popular in Europe. Both albums were produced by Davis Causey, with special guests, Randall Bramblett and Tom Ryan.

Steve's love songs, songs of loss or classic country storytelling have taken listeners on a journey they won't soon forget.

Steve is backed by Probable Cause Band, all highly accomplished musicians. Led by Wayne Bailey on lead guitar, M. Scott Calloway, bass/rhythm guitar, Brandon Eaton on drums, Allison Robarts on percussion and Karen Tucker on keyboard, the band, through a lot of hard work, have brought his vision to life.

Together with Probable Cause, Steve's concerts are for anyone who enjoys good music and great fun.

BMI singer, songwriter Steve Coughlin has Southern roots as deep as they come. Steve brings smooth, Southern-style to the forefront with his first album Out of the Cold, followed by the straight forward and sweet harmonies of the Winds of Home album. Steve’s music roots were born in Nashville and carried over to his Georgia home in the foothills of North Georgia. Steve has played his music throughout the South with the smooth style they deserve. Steve has several songs from both albums now coming out on FM Radio, Americana, country stations. He has teamed with several other artists, Randall Bramblett and Davis Causey, on several songs on his albums.

Steve is backed by his band Probable Cause featuring Wayne Bailey, Karen Tucker, Scott Calloway, Allison Robarts, Brandon Eaton and Bennie B. The band brings Steve’s visions to life and his shows are for those who enjoy music in its original genre.
