We all have collections. Yours could be baseball cards, or beanie babies, tattoos, or bad habits. Cory Taylor Cox collects memories and shows them off through his music, influenced by time spent in cities with a soulful history like Muscle Shoals and Memphis. Encouraged by time spent on the road, from singing in all-state youth choir to touring with pop-punk and Americana bands, Cory holds on to memories of vinyl records, Pink Floyd and the Eagles, stashed away in the top of his father’s closet. The quaintness of every coffee shop that exchanged craft-caffeine for acoustic serenades, every hardcore metal band that let him open an all-ages show with emo songs, or folk songs, or whatever, to every PBR-soaked, party-rock, electric guitar cat-call, these are the collections of Cory Taylor Cox. more >>>

Clayton Waller, the Mississippi music artist known as Rock Eupora, started taking piano lessons at the age of 5. He quickly discovered his love for songwriting and performing and took advantage of nearly every opportunity to play music. In college, he helped form a rock-n-roll power trio called Wolf Cove. Wolf Cove started dissolving as graduation approached, and Waller began writing solo. These songs eventually became Rock Eupora and took form as the first album, Blanks.

While in grad school in Nashville, TN, Waller wrote and recorded Rock Eupora’s second full-length album in his apartment-converted basement. In Soon The Sun Will Come, Waller uses galactic hooks and melodies and a unique blend of gritty rock and shimmering pop to address the power of time, the reality of love, and the importance of faith as he experiences a transitional stage of life. more >>>
Young Valley | 9:00 PM
Ideas had grown cold about forming a "back-up country" band for frontman, Zach Lovett. "Z" had become a household name in the Mississippi singer-songwriter conversations and was wanting to explore some new options and considered the idea of having a band to accompany his songs. With the frazzling out of their ensemble based Mississippi Delta folk-grass band, Dandy & the Lions, - Zach, Spencer Thomas, and Carson Braymer were caught in a similar situation. The creativity between them was stronger than ever during this transition phase as they were throwing around song ideas and melodies, but they all lived in different parts of the state. After finding their way back to Jackson, the 3 piece finally rounded out their sound with the homecoming of guitar player and Zach's brother, Dylan - who was living in Texas while at college. What started out as playing Zach originals or his collaborations with Spencer, fused into a swapping and sharing of songs and creativity that, combined with their influences and sense of home, and their natural alt-country sound, with a lot bad jokes, thoughtful minds, and Budweiser - Young Valley was formed.

Since then, they try and stay on the road or spend time in the studio and they have had some good times with some good people - having shared the stage with Water Liars, Allana Royale, Futurebirds, Phosphorescent, Joe Pugg, and Adam Faucett. more >>>
