Laughs Unlimited
Sacramento, CA

Sold Out

Get your first peak at the newly renovated club on Friday, August 30th. The Re-Opening celebration kicks off at 8 pm with an ALL STAR WEEKEND featuring performances from Ellis Rodriguez, Ngaio Bealum, Brad Bonar Jr., DJ Sandhu, Anthony K, and Carlos Rodriguez.

Sacramento’s original comedy club, Laughs Unlimited, will be temporarily for renovations on August 5. The club originally opened in 1980 and will be celebrating its 39th year this August.

Old Sacramento has been the home to Laughs Unlimited since August 6, 1980. As the 8th longest running comedy club in the nation, Laughs Unlimited has seen many well-known comedians over the years including Dana Carvey, Jerry Seinfeld, Elayne Boosler, Jay Leno, Emo Phillips, Shawn Wayans and more. Owners Jennifer Canfield and Laurie Cappawana were recently able to negotiate a lease and ensure the historic club stays in the Old Sacramento historic district where it began.

“The walls of Laughs hold more than just pictures of comedians, there is history, memories and a reminder not to take life too seriously. This is a business that holds the dreams of comedians who have found success doing something they love and once you’re a part of that there is no turning back.” – Jennifer Canfield

In an industry that has seen many club closures in recent years, Sacramento’s own piece of history remains strong.
